Wednesday

Well it was another cold morning for us flatlanders with temps into the high 30's, I saw frost on the grass and roof tops away from the tree areas as I rode out on the bike this morning, Yikes my eyes were watering by the time I reached the rec. After the Chester wake up I did my quiet time then had a bowl of fruit salad before heading for my 2 1/2 hour workout on the pickle ball court.

I headed home after a quick stop at the library to hand water the gardens; seems it was spared from the frost due to the large oak tree. The basil is not a lover of cool temps and even though I put it in the shed it still doesn't look good, everything else looks O.K. We finally put the heat on for the first time this winter as it was 65 in the house when we awakened. I like the crisp cool air especially when your snuggled in between lots of blankets, Nancy was dressed like a snow boarder between those same sheets, oh well!!!

We didn't have the kids for lunch today as they went to Tampa to have lunch with Tyler; Nancyhad a mammogram appointment. I just read most of the afternoon until it was time to vacuum as we were having house church later in the evening. We had 8 adults and 1 kid and discussed doing a study on a book by John Eldridge the author of Wild At Heart.

Nancy spoke with her mom and dad and he seems to have responded to this new round of treatment and Dianne referred to him as the comeback kid, she was very encouraged his quality of life had improved somewhat even though we all know its terminal due to the congestive heart failure. This little rally and the fact he made a life decision about CHRIST has helped take the sting out of the inevitable and that's something we all at one in our life will face; death.

Hey just a business update on a lighter note; this month's special from our team leaders at Amway are BOGO(buy one get one free) all Nutrilite drinks( that's shakes, juices, twist tubes, etc)and all Perfect Waters and XS energy drinks; however your order must have at least 25 PV total to get the BOGO. PV points are attached to each item you purchase and depends on the value of the items. When you decide to order add those PV's and make sure they are at least 25 for the total order also that number applies to any items you order and goes toward the BOGO'S as well. If you spend at least $120 your shipping is Free as well. This is a time to stock up.

Well stay warm to all our northern family and friends we are supposed to reach 70 again by the week's end so our cold is just temporary, LATER
