Sunday

Chester(rooster)next door was having a fine time at 5 in the morning, must be the full moon has him thinking its daybreak. Finally he shut up enough to drift back off until nearly 7 before rolling out and getting ready to head to Tampa for worship at Element Church. Wow was there ever a large crowd with lots of new faces and some very old faces we hadn't seen in awhile. Bobby's message on Grace was awesome and had us in tears as well as the praise music was very endearing and uplifting; my son amazes us with his gift of speaking and putting together a message.

After the service we headed back to home for a quick lunch of left over's before heading out to the nursing home to assist with the church service there for the elderly and afflicted. We pushed about 15 or so patients in wheelchairs to the short service and then again back to their rooms afterwards. Many of them are in need of assistance and prayer for improved health and remind us so much of Nancy's dad condition. At least he is with family(Nancy's brother) and gets some love but these folks have no one. We do see a few visitors to some of the rooms but the ones we push to the service many will pass on alone except for the nursing staff.

Well Nancy put on a pot of Zuppa soup for supper and I picked from the garden some absolutely beautiful tender Kale to add to the soup. We took our pot of soup up to the Botbyl's and with their tostitoes we had a sumptuous meal and got to play a game of Phase 10 after eating while watching the NFL playoffs. Wow can you believe Tim Tebow, a rookie quarterback for the Denver Broncos? He is catching all kinds of flak because he is Christian and tells the world he is unashamed to be one. Well he is one tough young man as well and he comes from Florida. You gotta love a guy who is being true to his family and himself while putting all the analyst in a tizzy. Go Tebow!!!

Nancy's dad didn't have as good a day as Saturday but he is still hanging on. The doctors are thinking maybe a pacemaker for the heart may stimulate it to work harder to get the fluid moving to his kidneys as they seem to be functioning a little better at this point; of course that could change any moment so he still needs prayer. Bobby in his message this morning spoke about how his Pap(Nancy's dad)had accepted Christ as his Lord and had us all in tears.
