Sunday

Well we actually slept in until after 6:30 AM even with the "fowl noise" from next door, I got up and closed the bathroom window which helped. After our quiet times and a lite breakfast we got ready to head over to Tampa for worship at Element Church. The music was awesome as was the guest speaker's message about being authentic in our relationships as well getting off the couch and doing something about our beliefs and letting CHRIST be seen in us. Great thought provoking message Keith and Laura's song was awesome as well. We rode over with Dan and Carol in their new Nissan car and wow all the bells and whistles, they don't even use a key anymore to start these cars. We got to love up on Annsley and Gabe our grand babies as well as renew old friendships and acquaintances. We were low on attendance for some reason this AM maybe it was due to the cool morning, OH well.

After church we finished up the veggie soup and then I vegetated on the couch watching the lackluster Bucs lose to a lackluster Bears team. We played awful except for a couple minutes and there seems to be an official attempt to thwart any good drives they make by penalty flags. Never have I seen so many yellow flags against one team especially in critical plays, many of the penalties are very questionable but that goes with being who you are, I guess. Anyhow the score was closer than the actual game itself as we played horrible in front of a sold out stadium in England.

I finish a memoir about a survivor of the Auschwitz death camp and if you want to experience degradation read her account by Sara Nomberg-Przytk. Horrible to think that hatred was that real for another human being or for a class of folks.

We boiled a Kielbasa in beer with some onions and along white rice and sliced beets, made for a very tasty supper, afterwards I headed out to hand water the gardens and the front yard. I'm trying to stay ahead of the pesky squirrels who have decided to use the yards and gardens for their storage pantry as they have holes everywhere in the what little grass is growing.

Well I watched about half of the baseball game and the Rangers were leading when I decided to call it a night. Our weather here is still superb with the a/c off and actually long sleeves were the norm yesterday at church. Nancy's dad is about the same except he has gone back on oxygen again as he is having some difficulty with his breathing. Keep him in your prayers, thanks!!! LATER
