Sunday

Well it was a rainy, windy kind of day ALL day; no storms just rain showers and at times down pours. We headed around 9 AM for Tampa to worship with the great group of folks there as well as 2 of our grand children. Annsley is such a tiny beautiful almost 4 year old and Gabe is just a sweet smiley inquisitive big boy for 1 year old. We had a great service with awesome music, message and then challenged to make a difference for specific people who are non-believers that we personally know and then we were prayed over and anointed with oil then sent forth to interact with those specific folks; much like Jesus did with his disciples. Awesome and inspiring and it will be interesting to see what the results will be.

We headed home to have a lite lunch and of course the NFL for me. Nancy took off to the hospital to visit her dad and of course her mom and sister were there as well. His pain is gone finally along with the blockage and he seems to be doing better. I vegetated on Sunday afternoons with football and flipping back an forth to playoff baseball but I have to admit for anyone who managed to stomach it through the Bucs game in San Francisco you are a true lover of them. I finally was so disgusted with their play I turned it off after we were down some 40 points, yikes was that ever a disappointing game and I don't know if they can ever recover from that butt whipping. Its no wonder they don't have any sellout games anymore; thank goodness for blackouts. I could barely watch these millionares(players) make a fool of themselves on the field.
Well Amy and the family came for a pork roast, mashed potato's(from my garden)green beans and gravy. Little Ava got sick and threw-up from what, we aren't sure of so that put a damper on the occasion(maybe she had been watching the Bucs game) anyhow they left shortly after supper and she had more throw ups later in the evening at her house. We sure hope it's not a stomach virus going around; but Nancy and I seemed fine so far. I'm looking forward to some pickle ball on Monday morning around 7:30.
