Sunday

The day started out with a sleep in until nearly 7 AM even though we tuned out the "fowl symphony" from next door, then it was get ready after our quiet times and a lite breakfast before heading out to Tampa for worship at Element Church with son Bobby. The service was awesome as usual with such praise music that was inspiring as was the message. Bobby's messages are very thought provoking and challenging with regard to life's experiences. We got to visit with many of our friends there and once again saw many new faces. The flow of new babies coming into the warehouse is just amazing and is encouraging.

We headed home shortly after the service and did a lite lunch of leftover fruit and dip from yesterday's awesome fruit tray Nancy had put together for Annsley's party, the coconut flavored dip is so yummy but fattening as it has cream cheese, whipping cream, etc, boy is it tasty. I headed out to the back yard to check on my newly transplanted seedling and it looks like about 95% of them will make it. I set a couple rat traps and put a large animal trapping cage in the middle of my garden to discourage the squirrels as they cause so much damage. I think they are looking for acorns or are burying acorns in the newly spaded dirt but they sure make a mess with my garden plants, anyhow these latest contraptions have them spooked for the moment.

I watched the NFL and saw a couple good games of course our local BUCS were blacked out because of the low ticket sales due to the economy and of course to their sporadic play; last week the 49'niners whipped them 48 to 3 and this week they beat the Saints by 6 points. Oh well!!! The Red Birds were beating the Brewers when I turned the lights at 10, so I'm assuming they are playing the Rangers in the World Series.

Well Nancy's dad is doing somewhat better at the rehab at least with his eating habits but he is still unable to stand alone and has a few others serious problems as well. Thanks for keeping both of her folks in your thoughts and prayers as this situation is life changing for both of them. Later
