Sunday

The day started out with cloudy overcast skies but in the 60's even though it had rained a little during the early morning hours it wasn't enough to settle the dust. We had our quiet times and a bowl of oatmeal before getting ready to head out for worship at the gathering in Tampa at Element Church. Bobby had a great message and afterwards we took grand daughter Annsley with us to pick up pizzas and a Greek salad for lunch at their house in Riverview. We spent the afternoon watching the Bucs beat last years Super Bowl Champs the New Orleans Saints but we got no help from any other teams so we are through for this year with a 10-6 record. That was much better than expected by the youngest most inexperienced team in the NFL, OH Well!!!

We played, held and visited with the family before heading by to Seminole. On the way we stopped at the super Wal-Mart to pick up a few goodies which usually are much cheaper than Publix. It was after 6 before we finally got home. I was still not hungry from the late lunch we had but did finish the last of the "dirt dessert" Amy made for New Years Day dinner. I just chilled and watched the football until it was time to "turn the lights, cause the party's over." That was a great saying that Dandy Don Meredith used to say on Monday Night Football. He passed away in December and was one of the most colorful commentators right up there with Howard Cosell. LATER
