Sunday

Well we awakened around 7 to a chilly morning but at least there was blue skies and the promise of a clear day. It eventually did warm to around 60 but not more than that as the day progressed. By late afternoon it was back down into the 50's and the promise of even colder temps tonight as well and the chance of rain sometime overnight. Monday is supposed to be another rainy day but the rest of the week looks good according to the fore cast with temps reaching the low 70's and down to the high 40's at night. Yeow is that ever an ideal fall day and of course the leaves are starting to change as well. It seemed like overnight we saw lots of yellows, reds, browns especially on the parkway.

Worship was awesome this morning at Cornerstone and afterwards we headed out to the pharmacy to renew some of Nancy's scripts and while they were being filled we headed to Subway for lunch then to Food Lion for some groceries. After picking up her scripts we headed home and it was nearly 2 PM before we made it back. Nancy put together a veggie casserole and a Cole slaw as we were fellow shipping with our small group around 5:30 at the Crouse House. We had a good turn out for burgers, dogs, slaw, casserole, a couple dips and chips, sliced 'maters and onions and apple pie. I passed on the last as I had a piece of Nancy's chocolate cake with white icing after getting home from church. I must be more adamant about not eating these sweets as the past couple days with all the company I've been a bad boy, Yeow it sure is easier to put on the extra pounds than it is to take them off.

Clarence and I showed a couple folks how to play "chicken foot" domino's and we played several rounds until it was time to head out for the cabin. We saw a couple deer on the way home as well as a possum, yikes they are one ugly creature. It was really cooling down with the heavy dew on the roof as it was already covered in dew  when we came up the drive. Well that's about it was this day as the Tampa Bay Bucs lost by a couple points in the final seconds, the Rays won their game but need some help by others teams to get a shot at a wild card spot. I noticed where the temps were over a 100 degrees on the football field in Tampa during the game, LATER  Here are a couple pics from yesterday.
