Sunday

Well we started the day around 7 and was it ever nippy here at 50 but just up the road it was 39, yikes that's wintertime in Florida, oh well. The day turned out to be just beautiful with clear blue skies, no humidity and bright sunshine that reached the temps to around 70 by early afternoon. After our quiet time Nancy had Cheerios and I finished up the last buckwheat cake for breakfast. We got ready and headed out for worship at Cornerstone around 9:30.

Pastor B had an awesome service to go along with the praise and worship music. Afterwards we met up with the Dalton Gang at a local Mexican Eatery and enjoyed a delicious lunch of enchiladas, salsa and chips. We stopped off at the grocery and fruit stand on the way out of town. We got back and made a couple phone calls then headed out to the top of the mountain for our daily hike. The top of the mountain was so clear and beautiful. We stopped and checked on Jetta as Joe is out of town then headed on back down the back trail.

I mixed up some miracle grow and fed the beets or what was left of them as a deer once again finish off the other half they missed a couple nights ago. They at least didn't pull the plants up and just ate the tops off; so hopefully the tops will grow back. I checked in with the NFL and caught some of the Redskins win then settled into watching the Bucs win over the Panthers. We headed out around half time to Gerald and Kay's place on the other side of Sparta for supper. We met up with Mechelle and had a great meal of barbecue pork chops, baked beans, deviled eggs, salad and Nancy brought a squash casserole. Yeow was that ever good eatin'.

The gals took off after supper to visit Katelyn and the new horse she and Mechelle they just bought(I will enclose some pics) while Gerald and I stayed back and watched the end of the women's final in tennis and then the conclusion of the Bucs game. We headed out around 8:30 for the cabin. The temps were already down into the low 50's as we got home, yikes they're talking down in the 40's again tonight. Well its been a good day of worship, food and fellowship plus both of my sports team won; the Rays and the Bucs, LATER
