Thursday

WOW what a day this turned out to be with severe thunderstorms, tornado's and torrential rainfall. It rained off and on most of the night so much so I drove the truck to the rec this AM for pickle ball after my quiet time and lite breakfast. We had a full house today but the first hour was such a workout. Afterwards I stopped by the weight room for some crunches and heavy weights, I'm still maintaining the weight loss with just about 5 pounds to go. After getting home I noticed some very ominous rain clouds and heavy thunder in the distance, yikes I knew we were in for some rough weather. We called Amy and she brought the kids over and shortly the storm broke lose. There were some severe wind gusts, hurricane style with thunder, lightning and some lite hail with terrific down pours. We had the storm on radar and there was evidence of tornado's although we never saw them we did see the damage later this evening as we drove out to Bonefish Grille in Largo for supper with family. We took GG and Pap out for his birthday and we met her sister, Daryl and family for and enjoyable evening of dining and talk. Well not much else is going on except the weather is to be better tomorrow with some sunshine and drying out. LATER
