Saturday

Well once again it was another beautiful day with warm temps up to about 80 and little or no humidity. There was bright sunshine with just a slight breeze that kept it comfortable all day long. We kind of slept in until 8 then had our quiet times and I had poached eggs over grits for breakfast. After eating I ventured out to hand water the gardens, cut lettuce and work in the garden until it was time to take an hour walk through the hood for our exercise. What a lovely day and it seems the green worms hanging from the oak trees are finally going away.

Nancy got a load of laundry out then we had a salad for lunch before she took off to the mall for some dress shopping. I stayed at home and read until it was time to watch Florida beat UCLA to advance to the round of 16 in the NCAA basketball championship. We headed up to Dan and Carols for supper and we made a nice fresh garden salad and fresh green beans. Dan grilled pork chops and Carol had oven taters so we had a great meal. Afterwards we got in a game of Phase 10, Oh Well and Golf and tonight was my night as I came in first in all 3 games. Nancy was sleeping with a winner tonight. On the way home we noticed had bright and full the moon was wow what a site. I understand the moon is 30 thousand miles closer to the earth for some reason. Oh, well!!! LATER
