Saturday

Well it was nice to sleep in until 7:30 after a busy week but the day held the promise of another busy one as well. The temps are still fairly nice but the humidity is back so of course the windows are shut and the a/c is on. Oh how I long for that fresh mountain air that lingers in your nostrils from the flowers, the trees and fresh mowed grass. Yikes it won't be long now until we will experience that sensation and climate change of the high country. Our house church met at Twill Auto Shop(family owned by our neighbors and friends Dan and Carol Botbyl) for our community service of free oil changes as well as a gas card to single moms. We certainly made a difference for a few moms and their children. We were back home by 10:30 as the count was down from last time. It was a working together effort to share a little love for those struggling with just one parent. I believe we serviced 4 family vehicles down from 9 families last time. After our oil change effort and a lite lunch Nancy and I got ready to travel to Riverview to Bobby and Jill's to play with Annsley and Gabey. We got there around 3 PM and left around 9 PM that evening. Nancy and Annsley were in their own little world of make believe and Gabey and I watched the NCAA playoffs. Florida got knocked out by an underrated Butler team after Florida led at once time by 10 points. We had a great time bonding with both as we don't see them as much as we would like do. Gabey is sitting up and is just such a smiley boy and what an eater he is. I ran out out to their new Sam's Club just down the road for a fresh pizza for supper as Annsley said that was her favorite. Wow is that ever a nice new store. Bob and Jill got back around 9 so we headed out shortly thereafter and made it back home in Seminole around 10. We were just amazed at the traffic on I-4 at the hour. You would never know gas is so expensive by the volume of traffic late in the evening, oh well. Today (Sunday) is worship at Element in Tampa so we are carpooling the Dan and Carol and today is "Bloody Sunday", that is we give back to the community in the form of a blood donation at the blood mobile that visits our church parking lot every 56 days. Nancy has a much rarer type but mine is universal. Well not much else is going on except we look forward to worshiping with a great family at Element. LATER
