Wednesday

Well the morning started out the usual with a few moments of thanksgiving in my quiet time and a banana for breakfast before heading out to the rec on my bike. Yikes, it was cold with that north wind a blowing. We had about 10 players all together but 4 of us had some great play the first 1/2 hour. After the rec I headed home and it sure looked as if would rain most of the morning, but eventually the skies cleared off but there was a coolness in the air all day long.

Amy, Ava and Samuel came for lunch and he was 2 weeks old today so we celebrated by having meatloaf sandwiches in his honor. I took Ava around the block on her trike after lunch and we found a few roly poly's(bugs) in the backyard and then she played with the doll house for awhile before heading out for her nap around 2:30. Nancy and I just chilled and read until it was time to head out for supper at our house church. We had a large group this evening with 18 adults and 5 kids. We pulled a supper with Carol making sloppy joes, Amy and Lucy made mac and cheese's, Nancy brought a large salad, apple pie, strawberry's and goop.Once again I was strong and refrained from dessert with having just a small bowl of fresh strawberries. So far I'm down 6 pounds and hope to lose another 5. That is now becoming much harder to do.

We had a super time of fellowship, praise and worship music, a little Bible study and prayer. It was after 9 PM before we headed home and caught the last half of American Idol. By then it was too late to ramble so here I am after lunch on Thursday. LATER
