Saturday

Well it was another busy day with Chester starting it out with an early morning crow around 5. We managed to tune him out until 7'ish before rolling out to start the day. After my quiet time and a couple poached eggs we got ready to head down to Twill Auto where our house church reaches out to single moms, widows and wives of military men who are overseas with a Free oil change with filter, safety check their cars and give them a gift card to Wal-Mart for 10 bucks. We had 10 or so signed up but had only 7 to show up as its my appointment only. We started at 9 and we were finished by 11:30 after the last appointment.

We stopped off at the health food store to pick up some organic apple cider vinegar with "mother" in it as well as some probiotics for Nancy. After a left over pork tenderloin sandwich, Nancy took off with Amy and GG for the mall to shop for Amy's birthday which is the 19th. I chilled and read while resting my knee which is doing much better and I may even try a lite workout some on Monday as its feeling that good. Nancy was gone most of the afternoon so I cat napped, read and eventually wondered out to do some watering in the garden. It was another hot and muggy day with temps in the 90's, come on 50's in the morning at the cabin.

I spoke with Paw Paw in Winchester and they had frost this morning but warmed up to the middle 70's by the afternoon, great weather and we sure are looking forward to a change as well. GG invited over for supper which was a fresh salad and spinach pie Greek style, yikes was that ever dewisheous(Annsley). I forget how to spell it but it sounds like spanicoplous(sic) anyhow I could eat that often. After the cleanup we played a round of Phase 10 and Nancy won on the last hand as usual. We watched the Rays playing the Orioles in the background and we were leading at one time but wound up losing again by one run. We are still without a couple of our big hitters and its starting to show.

Well not much else is going on except tomorrow(Sunday) will be our final Sunday at Element for awhile. We are looking forward to seeing all of our Cornerstone friends on the 27th and once again worship with that great group of believers. LATER
