Sunday

The morning started early with Chester once again crowing his head at 5'ish in the morning, however we managed to tune him out until nearly 8 AM, wow was that ever nice to sleep in for a change. This was house church Sunday so we were meeting in our respective meeting places so we avoided the long drive to Tampa and just walked 3 houses up to our neighbors, Dan and Carol. It was also brunch Sunday so Nancy made breakfast burritos, Dan made French toast and others brought fruit and pastries. We had a good time of eating together and enjoying one another's company. There were a few no shows for whatever reason but we had a group of 8; we do this on the 5th Sunday's.

After eating we headed home to relax and read for most of the afternoon for me but Nancy headed over to pick her mother up and then to Clearwater to pick her sister up and drive to the cemetery. The girls then stopped for shopping before heading back to Seminole and to have supper with her mom. I got interested in the NHL playoff game until supper time. We fixed fried Swaii fish along with black beans and Jasmine rice and a cucumber and onion salad, dewisheous(Annsley). Nancy took her mom home just before dark and I was still reading and listening to sports. The Rays beat the Rangers in the third game of their 3 games series 5-2, so that's another feather in their cap as the Rangers are or were the best team in all of baseball going into this series with the Rays.

Well April is just about in the books and we have just 21 days to go before we head out for the mountains and it couldn't come any sooner as the weather here has turned muggy and hot. Last week was a fluke with the cool temps and dry conditions but typical Florida weather is here now with avengeance. Not much else is going on but I have lots of chores to do here before heading north. We have 2 more Sundays here before leaving for the summer, LATER
