Sunday

Well the morning was much the usual with an early wake up crow from Chester next door around 5'ish but we rolled over and tuned him out until 7 AM. After our quiet times we each made our own breakfast. Oatmeal for Nancy and for me poached eggs and grits. I was scheduled to give blood at church this AM so I ate hearty and speaking of giving blood that was a record for me, just under 7 minutes from the time the needle went in until she pulled it out. All my vitals were good and especially my iron count as it was 500 points above the minimum needed to give. All the leafy green vegetables we eat made that number so good, anyhow there were several giving this day.

Bobby had an awesome message on what happened after Easter, the Resurrection of Jesus and the gift of the Holy Spirit to the followers. There was a nice crowd with once again several new faces. We got to love up on our grand babies as well. After the service we headed back to Seminole. Our friends Dan and Carole were spending the week-end at a resort near Orlando and had invited us over for the afternoon by the pool but because Nancy has been up and down with her health we declined. We had a nice fresh garden salad with tuna fish on top for lunch. I tuned into the Rays game and once again we go beat by only 2 runs so that was an improvement somewhat. I have a feeling this going to be a long season if we continue to play as we have the past 3 games.

We did a little calling in the afternoon and spoke with Mechelle our mountain buddy. It's garden planting time with the trees starting to bud with new leaves and the grass is green and lush. She seems to be somewhat better as she now is keeping her food down and her dad is doing better as well. We caught up on all that's been going on with them and gave her the date we are planning on being back on the mountain. Next we spoke with youngest sister Dee and daughter Kelly about the wedding plans in July which will have Bobby our son marrying her and Jordan at our old home church in Virginia. That should be a fun and exciting time for all. It doesn't look as if Amy and her family will be able to attend as Tyler's best friend and cousin is getting married in Texas so he will be in the wedding there at about the same time, oh well!!

We did a lite supper of bean burritos then settled in to read, play around on Face Book and I watched NHL Stanley Cup hockey until it was time for bed, LATER
