Thursday

Well this day will be one I don't want to duplicate in the near future. It started out with a good morning after quiet times and a lite breakfast and of course 2 hours of pickle ball play with a couple new players. I had to leave around 9:30 as Nancy had to take Amy to the hospital. She has contracted walking pneumonia and spent 6 hours in the women's section at Morton Plant with a monitor for little unborn Samuel. The doctor finally gave her a shot and prescribed lots of medicine. Little Ava was also running a fever most of the day with a nagging cough as well with lots of head congestion. Tyler came and picked her up from my babysitting around 4 and took her to the doctor as well. She also was prescribed lots of medicine. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day health wise for both of them.

I got the spuds and chicken ready while Nancy was with Amy but the dinner turned out well with out all of Nancy's little fixin's. I put the chicken on the grill around 4:30 and we ate at 6. The red potatoes were cooked up with parsley and we had a fresh salad along with fresh green beans. We fixed plates for Amy, Tyler and Ava to take home and eat. Sorry Ava never got to meet her cousins last night from Miami and her Uncle Eric missed seeing her tonight. Oh well we just hope Amy and Ava can get some relief and rest tonight from the high fevers and coughing. Tomorrow we will watch Ava during the day until its time for her nap and us taking off to Tampa for the evening and night.

Nancy's folks are both on antibiotics as well for coughing. It will be a miracle we don't catch something as well. Well we got in a game of Phase 10 after dinner and G/G (Nancy's Mom) won on the last round. Eric is flying out tomorrow night back to cold Michigan so we won't see him probably until July when one of his son's get married in Michigan. LATER .
