Sunday

Well it indeed was sunny today but colder than all get out. Down below freezing for hours. I definitely lost some plants but won't know until tomorrow afternoon if I loss it all as I kept the blankets on all day. The highest today was 42. Now that's not right for Florida especially when it was 90+ in October and the a/c running Christmas Day.

We had a good time of worship at Element this morning in Tampa with cold windy temps in the 30's. The Florida Blood Sevices visited our campus with a bloodmobile at 10 AM, so I was one the first give blood. We learned for every unit given there is at least 3 people effected. Our Pinellas house church started this tradition a couple months ago and we hope to continue with it every 8 weeks or so. I think our total for the morning was 23 donors. Several attempted to give but were rejected because of the 8 weeks time period in between donations. There was a big move after the message to get the classrooms ready for next weeks use and dedication of the new classrooms for our kids and grand kids. Most of the old classroom furniture was moved into the new building in anticipation of its use.

We stopped off at Sonny's Barbecue for lunch on the way home before stocking up on some items from Walmart and Sam's Club. I spent the rest of the afternoon watching the Ravens whup the Patriots and then what a game between the Packers and Cardinals. I read Kurt Warner's biography a couple years ago when he was with the Rams. He is a great role model as well as a super human being. I had to pull for him and their team won in overtime. What a high scoring game at 96 total points. Obviously, neither team has a dominant defense.

Well not much else going on except trying to stay warm. It looks as if we will get some Florida warmth back this way by the weekend, at least it will be above freezing. LATER.
