Wednesday

Well did it ever feel good to be back on the pickle ball court and I had a great 2 plus hours of work out with some great points. I was a little stiff and sore the rest of the evening since it had been a week since we last play, but it was worth it. The morning started with big beak Chester doing his 5'ish wake up the hood crowing but I was already awake in anticipation of hitting the courts at 7:30. After my quiet time and a couple poached eggs on a bed of grits I headed out on the bike. It was once more a beautiful Spring like morning with enough coolness in the air to wear a flannel shirt while riding the bike.It eventually warmed up to the middle 70's but with lots of high clouds mixed in with some sunshine.

After the rec I stopped by the library and picked up an unbelievable read titled A TALE OF TWO LIVES, its the fugitive story of Susan Lefevre. Yeow does this story about her life and what she went through while on the lam for a trumped up drug arrest as a teenager, her escape and how she was treated in the Michigan prison system after being rearrested 30 years later. It is a must read. I read most of the afternoon as this book was that revealing and informative and a real eye opener about judicial system in Michigan; never thought I would read about this occurring in America.

I watered the garden and then Amy and the kids came for lunch. Afterwards I sat outside and read while the kids played then they headed over to a neighbors house to play with a little boy in her class at school and then they all came back to our yard and played until it was time for supper. Needless to say there were no naps today for anyone as Amy's electrical service was being changed out at their new house so she couldn't go home.

After supper it was threatening rain and storm clouds were on the radar so they headed home before the storm and we got ready for house church at 7. We never got the storm or the rain but did get the humidity back so on went the a/c. We had 9 for house church and we discussed the humanness of Jesus in the Eldridge book, BEAUTIFUL OUTLAW very interesting. After our meeting we tuned into the last half of Survivor and American Idol then it was time to get ready for nite, nite. LATER
