Saturday

Well it was a busy day with moving Amy and Tyler into their new rental house about 2 miles further from us than before. Our morning started with a 5'ish wake up crow from Chester but we rolled over and managed to tune him out until 7 AM. Amy was bringing Ava and Sam over around at 8 so she and Tyler could go and pick up a large U-Haul truck. Several men from the church were coming as well to help with the heavy stuff at 9. Nancy fixed some French toast for the kiddos and myself then I headed out to pick up Dan and we headed over to the Ross's.

Neil, Jason, Dan, Tyler and myself loaded all the big heavy stuff and we were on our way with the first load in about an hour and we did a second load and were basically through loading and unloading by around noon. Tyler treated the 5 of us to lunch at Joto's pizza which was just down the road and then we returned the truck and made a last minute sweep of the old house and left the keys on the counter. We then headed over to the new place to begin the really hard work of putting beds back together, setting the house up and putting away things. We kept busy until nearly 6 o'clock before calling it a day and heading over to GG's for supper. She had prepared a dewisheous baked spaghetti casserole, fresh salad and crusty bread. We all ate including Betsy and Braden and we stayed and cleaned up until it was nearly 8 before heading out. Amy and Nancy had bathed the kids before we left the house so that was done and boy were we all tired.

It didn't take long for me to fall asleep after that nice hot shower as I last looked at the clock it wasn't yet 10. The weather was great for doing physical work outside with no humidity and the highs in the low 60's all day; and then we saw where it was calling for a hard freeze just north of the bay area at night. The temps were dropping as we headed home and it already was down into the 50's and this morning (Sunday) it was 35 in Seminole. There was no frost as the winds were steady but it was cold with overcast skies.

Today is worship together day at the gathering at Element Church in Tampa and then afterwards its off to the local nursing home to bring a little joy to those shut-in's. LATER
