Sunday

Well once again it was a busy day that started out with Chester next door crowing at 5'ish in the morning but we rolled over and managed to stay in the sack until around 6:30. Today was head to Tampa for worship so we did our routine quiet times and lite breakfast before heading out for the 45 minute drive to Element Church.

There was a good crowd with lots of new faces and tons of kids; this is a young group of folks with very few grand parents in attendance but lots of new babies being born this month, yikes don't drink the water if you come for a visit. We had another great message on one of the key foundations of Element and that was simplicity. We shared that message with the LORDS SUPPER at the end of the message and simply what it means to share at the table the breaking of the bread(that represents the body of Christ) and the drinking of the cup(the wine that represents the shedding of the blood for our forgiveness). It was an awesome time of worship and remembrance.

After the service we headed home to eat some leftovers before getting ready for the family that was coming around 5:30 for supper. We bought a couple whole chickens at Sam's last week so I cut them up and got them ready for the grille and Nancy made oven taters loaded with fresh parsley and Rosemary from the garden and of course I made a huge salad from the garden which used up the last of the lettuces, but I have more on the way in a week or so as they are finally starting to take off. GG brought some fresh broccoli and cauliflower and I added from my garden some small broccoli heads to it as well, plus there was fresh French bread. Yikes what a feast once again. Grandma Nancy made fresh chocolate chip cookies afterwards for all. Bobby and his kids, Amy and her kids, GG and Betsy plus Nancy and I and we once again had a house full. Jill and Tyler were busy with other planned events so they they missed the all the excitement and good eatin'. Everyone stayed until after the kids baths then they headed out around 8:30 or so. It was a fun time and the kids played great together as Sam and Gabe are starting to interact a little more each time they are together; of course Ava and Annsley are in their own little make believe world with dolls, etc.

After the clean up it was time to relax and and read before the bed began calling my name. I was lights out around 10:30, LATER Here are a couple pics from the occasion.
