Monday

Well the day started out much the usual with Chester sounding off around 5'ish then my quiet time and a bowl of cereal before heading out to the rec for a couple hours of pickle ball. We had a large crowd today and some great games with extended rallies. My shirt was soaked as was many others as I don't think the a/c was turned on as well. Anyhow after a great workout I stopped off and returned a couple books at the library before pedalling home on my bike. I did a little garden work while waiting for Nancy to return from a doctor's appointment, seems she has a place on her lip that will just not heal so she wanted to make sure its not cancerous and this doctor is sending her to a specialist next week for further evaluation.

Amy and kiddos came for lunch and afterwards the kids and I headed outside to play with buggies and wormies. That handful of worm's kept them busy for an hour or more; of course by then they had dried worm "stuff" glued to their fingers and hands. After they took off for their afternoon naps I sat under the big oak in the back yard and read while Nancy took off to the rec for her workout. When she came back we stopped off at the bank then headed for Aldi's for a few goodies.

Well the humidity has arrived once again so the a/c is back on with the house closed up, but we did get a very nice rain which was completely unexpected and it cooled things down a little as well. I picked broccoli, sugar peas and green peppers to add with the fresh mushrooms, onions and garlic and made a nice stir fry for supper with added shrimps, yikes was that ever dewisheous over a bed of Jasmine rice. I have enough left over for lunch tomorrow.

After the cleanup Tyler brought the kiddos by while we hauled a load of furniture, toys, etc to their new house about 2 miles away. That kept us busy for an hour while Nancy watched the kiddos as Amy had a meeting at church. LATER
