Wednesday

Well the morning was much the usual with my quiet time, a bowl of oatmeal before riding out to the rec for 2 1/2 hours of pickle ball. We finally had 4 to show up initially so there was some great play early then a couple more and finally we ended with 8 for the day. Some really good play and by 10 AM I was ready to head home with a stop at the library. Nancy was gone as her Dad had a bleeding spell this morning had had to be transported to the E.R. After a stitch and a bandage she brought him home, seems the Plavix medicine made his blood run thin so it wouldn't stop bleeding, he seems fine now but a little washed out.

I ventured out into the yard to do some hedge and bush trimming until lunch time when Nancy finally got back. We had a lite lunch of tuna salad and pita bread. Afterwards I read until it was time to get ready for house church tonight at our place so I vacuumed while Nancy made a cake. I grilled a couple bone-in pork chops and she cooked some frozen spinach for supper.

We had a nice turn out for house church but were missing 2 couples while gaining another couple. Tonight was our last time until we head to N.C. We will surely miss the gang and hope they continue with their weekly get together's. LATER
