Saturday

Well once again it was a beautiful morning with lots of bright sunshine and not to bad on the humidity. I worked outside in the yard and garden and then we watched Ava and Sam for a couple hours and they were outside as well. Sam is an outside boy and he just loves the chicken next door. He played(feeding) with it for ever pushing leaves and sticks through the fence so it would peck at it. After they left we just chilled, reading and watching a little baseball(Rays won again) until the Kentucky Derby pre-race show came on. Nancy was glued to the TV until it was time to get ready too head out for a wedding shower for a couple in our house church.

We skipped supper and just had a salad for lunch as we knew we would be sampling all kinds of finger foods at the shower. There were about 40 folks there and we had a good time meeting Ryan's family as well as Paula's folks. She is from Colombia and they plan to marry in July, a real sweet Christ loving couple. We stopped off at neighbors Jim and Laurie on the way home as she just graduated from dental hygiene school so they were having a party as well. These are great neighbors and another sweet couple with a sweet teenage daughter, Kayla.

Well not much else except today(Sunday) we are having the whole family over for smoked ribs for Mother's Day, LATER.
