Sunday

Well the morning started with a wake up around 7 AM. It was still dark out but our company wanted to get an early start as they had a 700 plus mile facing them as they were heading back to sunny and hot Florida. They left around 8:45 after a lite breakfast and their cups of hot coffee. It was in the 40's but seemed warmer for some reason. After they left we got ready and headed out around 9:30 for worship at Cornerstone. By the time we were on the road the temps had climbed to about 50, yikes that is the warmest its been at that hour all week.

Worship was awesome and we had a packed house as well. Pastor B's message was on what obstacles keep us from being a good servant; the praise music was great also. After the service we hooked up with our friends the Dalton Gang and Katelyn and headed to The Pines restaurant for lunch. Nancy had fried Whiting(fish) and I had 1/2 barbecue chicken. The food was good and plentiful. Afterwards we headed on back to the cabin where I watched football while Nancy called her mom and spoke with Amy.

Around 3 PM we decided to get in a hike to the top of the mountain. We saw no one except Thomas Cahoon who was riding his 4-wheeler along the back road. It was overcast and while not real cold the strong winds made it feel even cooler. The temps dropped rapidly as we had left town after lunch from 72 to 57 as we neared the cabin. Its strange to see the difference in the temps in about 8 miles. After the hike I tuned back in to the football game as well as the ALDC between the Yanks and Tigers. The Tigers are up 2 games in the best of 7 games for this divisional series. I saw where the Bucs beat the Chiefs.

Well since we had a big lunch we decided to have a salad for supper along with some kettle corn we had purchased on Friday. That's about it for this day as I still have a couple games to watch before bed time, LATER
