Wednesday

Well it was another gorgeous day here in sunny warm Florida. The morning was much the usual with a late "fowl wake up" for some reason the rooster didn't crow until after 6 AM; was I ever hoping some critter ate him overnight or maybe he flew off to where rooster's go if they make it beyond the frying pan, Oh well!!! It was the bowl of oatmeal with blueberries and a banana after my quiet time and then the ride out on the bike to the rec for over 2 hours of some really good pickle ball play. We had another new player today for the first time and he's a very good player. Should be some interesting play this winter with all these new players and now most of our regulars are back as well even though several are now limiting their play due to old age and old injuries; so far I'm still able to play everyday.

After the rec I did some garden work until lunch time and then did a little business paperwork before settling in to read the afternoon away. I finished the book FOUR CORNERS by Kira Salak. Its a good read and if you like adventure you will love this read. Nancy had taken her mom to the rehab earlier in the morning so we got ready for our house church meeting at our house at 7 PM. I vacuumed and she baked cookies then we had a lite supper of soup and salad.

We had 12 folks including 3 kids for our house church meeting and we decided or discussed what projects we would do for the holidays which are fast approaching. We decided to help out a couple families less fortunate as well as do a Christmas get together of some kind; of course food is involved. Next week we are doing different kinds of chili and talking about making small Christmas wreaths to give away in our hood.

Well Thursday afternoon we are heading over to son's Bobby's house to watch Annsley and Gabe as he and Jill both have engagements so we will fix supper and play with them. We wish they were closer as it a 100 miles round trip and the traffic is horrendous but we do get to see them at church on Sunday's. This will be an added bonus,although I'm not crazy about the drive an especially at night coming home. Oh well!!
