Sunday

Once again another beautiful morning with cool temps into the low 50's and a high of low 80's and no humidity. It so reminded us of the mornings we have at the cabin in N.C. We slept in until 6:30 then did our quiet times before getting ready to head over to Tampa for worship at Element Church with son Bobby. The service and music was awesome and we got to see and hold our grand babies Annsley and Gabe as well. After church we stopped off at Subway for a quick lite lunch before heading back to our county; we rode with Dan and Carole as we are now carpooling on most Sundays.

After getting back home I did some hand watering of the gardens before vegetating in front of the tube and NFL football. Luckily the Bucs were blacked out here in the Tampa area because of low attendance so we got to watch a really good game between the Bengals and Steelers. That game went right down to the last series of plays whereas the Bucs were blown out by the Texans. It doesn't look good for my favorite 2teams(Panthers and Bucs) but my third choice is the 49'ers and they look good after beating the Giants. When I lived in California I attended a couple games at the old Kezar stadium downtown 'Frisco and rooted for then what was a team much like the Bucs are now; hot one day and horrible the next, anyhow it was a great experience.

We chilled the afternoon away catching up with some mountain friends; Eddie and Kimberly and our mountain mom, Helen. All seem to be well and the cold and wind have returned to the high country. All the leaves are gone from the trees and that dark barren ,cold, winter look is evident once again there. I grew up in Northern Virginia and don't miss miss this time of the year except for the occasional white snowfalls. Anyhow this could be another cold winter for them as it very early to be having below freezing temps.

Well we ate left over pasta fasioule soup for supper and my was that ever tasty. After the cleanup Nancy took off for the rehab to visit her dad and give her mom a ride home; I got into another late game and found it less than I expected so I read and we cut the lights off around 10 PM, LATER
