Tuesday

The humidity has returned so on went the a/c as the heat isn't too bad, in the middle 80's but the dampness in the air makes it so sticky. Anyhow not much new this day except for the usual routine. A fowl wake up around 6 AM( of course I was already up and shaved) I think he sees our lights on an starts his crowing. After my quiet moments and a bowl of oatmeal with fruit I headed out to the rec for a couple hours of pickle ball. We had 6 players to start with early and ended up with 12 for the day. There were some super points with long rallies and the result was lots of wet shirts, a good workout day.

I headed home after a quick library stop and picked up a new read by Kira Salak, titled THE CRUELEST JOURNEY. The author is the same gal who crossed Papal New Guinea and this time she is in a kayak in western Africa on her way to Timbuktu. What a traveler she is and tough as nails. After a little garden work and lunch I vegetated traveling with her on the Niger River as she made her way into the northern part of Africa south of the Sahara Desert. She was trying to follow a Scottish traveller, Mungo Park who did this trip in the 1800's and was eventually never heard from again on his second trip into the area on the river.

I grilled some chicken breasts and we had baked sweet potato's and left over squash casserole for supper, good eatin' all around. Nancy's sister Betsy came by for a visit and we had just received our Artistry order from Amway which I distributed to her as well. I ordered it on the 9th and we got it within 6 days, not bad for an on-line order and the shipping was free. If you haven't ordered yet these buy 1,get 1 Free Artistry cosmetic products, are ending soon at the end of the month as the special goes away then. This special comes from our team leaders ONLY.

Well not much else is happening, LATER
