Annsley is in charge, Raffaldini Vineyard, Wal-Mart and Bass fishing

Today started out with the moisture from last nights rain heavy in the air as well as 58 degrees. Nancy and I slept in until 7 AM after listening to dogs barking from 4 AM on. Its a good thing I love animals and people( even those challenged mentally)....

I took Rook for a long walk while everyone else slept in. Then hoed a little in the garden, but it was still wet from last night. A quick breakfast of oatmeal got me started for the day. Bob and Jill made their presence felt along with Annsley who after a 3 AM melt down finally awaken. Nancy gave her a bottle and then I played on the floor with her while Nancy made blueberry muffins. After breakfast Bob and I resumed our chess match which was started yesterday afternoon and ended with a stalemate(according to Bob). When he was behind, Annsley needed his undivided attention, oh well. He won the first first game after making a controversial move called"I didn't set the board up right when I tried castleing ." Oh well he did win the second game and the third was another stalemate. So much for the chess match....

We finally got away from the cabin around 1 PM after Annsley finished her morning nap. We headed to Ronda,N.C. in search of Raffaldini Vineyards via a shortcut through the Traphill area. We made it and only had to verify twice with by- standers along the road that we were heading in the right direction. We found the vineyard and was this place packed with cars from everywhere(last time we were the only people in the place). Also they were serving gelato(Italian ice cream) and a young violinist had Annsley mesmerized with his playing . Her approval of the chocolate was noticeable. We sampled a couple of the wines and found them very appealing to the palette. It was after 4Pm before we headed out for Elkin and Wal-Mart. After a shopping spree we then headed north and back to the cabin....

Annsley was having a very difficult time acclimating herself to the car seat, needless to say she once again went from 0 to 90 quickly with her disapproval( I think some great grand pa Everett was evident in her demeanor). We made it back with Jill driving up the Continental Divide and finally Annsley crashing in the car seat with a short nap....

Bob and I decided to try our luck with a fishing pole. I caught 4 bass in 4 casts to start the evening off before the bass figured out what we were throwing at them. After that they slowed down and we managed a total of 6 keepers(some just barely). I caught all of mine without any questionable moves.Well until later missing our family and especially Ava.
