Annsley arrived with her Mommy,Daddy and Rook

Yea the kids got in safely after a 12 hour journey. We were so surprised to see the changes in Annsley. She now has 4 teeth and 2 more are trying to emerge. Rook was running around looking for K.C. and wagging his "stump" tail. He is still very hyper but has the most beautiful eyes. This morning about 4 AM we hear this crash as Rook and the safety gate come crashing down the stairs. Luckily every one was alright. Needless to say Annsley woke up and has been awake since 5:45 AM. Bob is suffering from allergies or a head cold so we gave him a couple Claretin and sent him and Jill back to bed. Grandma fed Annsley her ceral and fruit, changed her diaper and now is playing on the floor, reading books etc....... Its cool this AM so we closed all the windows but not near as cool as the past 2 mornings.....Nancy made Grandma Everett's spaghetti and meatballs with a fresh garden salad for supper(dinner) with garlic bread.YUMMMM. After we let that digest Annsley got her bath and we played on the floor while watching the Rays(Tampa Bay) play the Red Sox's(Boston). The Rays are the best club in all of MLB(wow what a turn around from worst to first)...... Bob and I took Rook for a hike to the top to help wear him down. The sun was just setting as a fiery ball while it settled down past the mountain top for the night. We ran into Audine and Carson on top along with their dogs, Blue and Trouble and the greeting between them was" I'll smell your rear and you smell mine". Great, we were a little worried about that meeting as Ray's dogs have the run of the mountain and could and do show up at anytime.......Well Annsley went to sleep just fine and we stayed up to watch the Ray's come from behind and sweep(won all 3 games)the World Series Champs. It was after midnight before we finally headed for the sack, sleeping peacefully until the 4AM crash. The cabin has wood floors and steps and any noise is magnified 10 fold. Everything echo's especially a 80 dog with a wooden gate falling head over heels down the steep slippery stairs. Sounded bad at first but after everyone was alright is was quite humorous...... Its unknown what we are doing today but I think riding in the car is out of the question. Later missing the rest of our family and especially Ava.

Glad Bob and the girls made it up fine. Those Rays are looking mighty fine. 1st place in the MLB, in JULY! Looks like they're for real. I'm hoping to be able to attend my first ever mlb playoff game, and hopefully World Series game!! Yeah yeah, the chicks haven't hatched, but it's fun to dream...
