Tuesday

Well we have had at least a foot of rain in this past week and once again the morning started out with another deluge, so much so I had to drive to the rec this AM., at least by 10 AM it had stopped. The day was a day of showers, humidity and 90 plus temps, Yikes are we ready for the mountains. Our friends there say bring a sweater for the mornings as its been chilly, oh well!!! The morning was much the usual with a rooster wake up(even with the rain) and a my quiet time before having a bowl of oatmeal. We had a few missing today at pickle ball but still had enough for 2courts of constant play. There were lots of wet shirts so the play was fast and really good the first hour or so.

After PB I stayed in and finished a good read about the Earp Family in the wild west and what really happened at the OK Corral shootout and about the town of Tombstone, Arizona. It was a good read and loaded with the facts and pictures about that era.
Amy and the kiddos came for lunch and we played until it was time for their(and mine) afternoon naps. I'm getting so lazy in the day after PB that it's a shame but its just too dang hot and humid outside to do anything else. At least I'm catching up on my reading.

The gang came for supper and we had fried fish, black beans and rice and a salad, yumm!!!! The kids played until it was their bath time then headed out about 8 PM. I watched the Ray's lose another game before turning in, LATER
