Tuesday

Well the morning started out with another rain shower and no leaks however after our quiet times and a bowl of oatmeal the skies turned black and a torrential downpour hit the house and the leaks began. So its seems the area of leaks is occurring where the gabled roof meets the flat roof, so tomorrow the roof man promised to come by and give me an estimate for a new flat roof(hopefully thats all that needs replaced).

We headed out to the rec for a workout on the elliptical(for me)and the treadmill(for Nancy). We did 30 hard minutes and I had a soaked shirt. We headed home to see the skies clear and the sun came out and dried everything up and we emptied the buckets. There wasn't a lot of inside drippings but enough to know the problem was more than what I had anricipated. I checked and found where I had new roofs installed on both decks in 1993. I think the shingled roof has a 40 year shingle but who knows.

Amy and the youngun's came for lunch and we had a good time playing with Ava and Sam until it was time for them to head home for their naps. We got ready and headed to Sam's Club for gas and some goodies for the grand babies and then headed to Riverview to visit with Annsley and Gabriel and of course their parents. We brought along a rotissere chicken for supper. Ann's and Gabe were delighted to see us and of course Ann's and grandma played dolls while Gabe and I played ball. He is walking now and still crawls occasionally. Bobby came home and we had salad with his homemade dressing which was fantastic and the chicken on the side. That Gabe can pack away the chow as he eats more than his big sister. We had a fun time and by 9 PM were ready to head back to Seminole.

Well we aren't sure if we will leave on Sunday or not depending on the roof man and how soon he can replace the roof plus Nancy's dad has to have surgery on an infected finger in the morning as she drives him to the doctor. So if he heals and is able drive and the roof is replaced we will possibaly head out Sunday. LATER
