Transplanting wineberry bushes,Mowing and W/Wacking and Friends over for spaghetti dinner

Well the day started out with a beautiful morning; low 60's and didn't get much above 75 in the afternoon. I worked outside all day after our quiet time. The birds were in rare symphony with the neighbors barking 30+ dogs(pit bulls),Unbelievable!!!!! So far they have only been on our porch the one time, but they are a noisy bunch. For the most part except for their barking they haven't bothered us. After breakfast I transplanted about 25 Zinnia seedlings I started from seeds(last years flower head). I then found some wineberry plants that were scattered about and planted them on the hill down below the garden. Next it was time to mow which takes about 2 hours with the push mower then with the weed whacker and finally spreading lime, Nancy usually helps but she was busy getting dinner ready for company. She made a big pot of spaghetti sauce using fresh oregano, basil and dill from my garden as well as chives. The garden salad was especially crisp and good. Yumm!!! She made a coconut cream pie for dessert. Wow what a feast. Our dinner guests left before dark so we took a golf cart ride to the top of the mountain and trimmed a few low hanging branches along the way. Tomorrow there is a leaf and string festival in Galax and then we are having more friends over for Sequence. Missing our babies and grand babies. Later!!!
