No Internet Friday, Planting and Digging and Boring Stuff

Wow is it HOT!!!! The temps hit 9o here yesterday and today. I helped to install a window A/C unit for Helen yesterday. We are even thinking we have to get one for Bob, Jill and Annsley if it stays this HOT. The cabin cools down at night with the attic fan running but in the afternoon it's down right HOT. Nancy and I worked round here all day Friday weeding, planting and doing boring hard work stuff in the heat. In the afternoon we decided to clean out the basement(cool down there) vacuuming and pitching out some unwanted clutter. We are getting ready for our first group to entertain this evening. A wienie roast over the open fire with all the fixin's. Its part of our small group from Cornerstone. Sure would be nice to get a rain shower and wash some of this yellow pollen away. The stuff is everywhere. I took the hose and washed the back porch and deck off this morning as well as all the furniture. Last evening we lost our Internet again. Boy do I hate to not be able to communicate with the outside world. Finally this afternoon I was able to get on line.....We have new grass up as well as many veggies but without some rain they may just dry up an blow way. Will close for now.... By the Way an update on the 3 orphan puppies. Ray and Audiene are feeding them with a syringe and they seem to be doing better and getting stronger. Well it clouded up and a few rumbles as well for some lightening but the next minute the sun's out. We saw some great pics of our granddaughter's. Thank guys, Loving all of you.
