Sunday

The day started out with being awake too early around 6 ish but I turned over and tried to go back to sleep but had a difficult time with all the outside noise; sirens, turkey gobbling next door, motorcycle's and loud cars and the inside noise of the A/C running. Wow have we got accustom to the quietness of the mountains. We headed out to Element around 9:15 AM and ran into a rain storm so strong and heavy there were cars stopped all along the interstate. The service at Element was awesome and it was so good to see all of our old friends once again.

After the service we headed over to Bobby's for lunch and along the way picked up a pizza and a Greek salad. After lunch we played with Annsley until it was time for her nap. Annsley is becoming so "book smart" with her knowledge of the Abc's and her numbers as well as certain word recognition. She is a cutie as well. We watched the Rays lose to the Jays and while doing so once again another severe rain storm hit with lightning and thunder. We headed out around 5 for home and ran into another rain storm on the way and when we got home it rained so hard there was a river running down the street in front of our house. We could use a little of this rain in N.C.

Ava and Amy came by for a visit until it was time for her bath and bedtime. Ava's ability to carry on a conversation at her age is astounding. We are so blessed to have 2 beautiful and smart grand girls. Well not much else going on, I'm hoping to play pickle ball in the morning, get a haircut then have family over for dinner. LATER
