Saturday

Well I know its early Sunday morning but after the family dinner last night at G/G's and a great visit with our niece Arrianne and her "wild" cat which incidentally looks like and Ocelot(wild cat indigenous to S.America) which she found wandering around her church one day. The cat was just about 4 weeks old when she adopted it. Ava was just thrilled to be able to watch the cat which hid most of the evening under the bed. What a great babysitting tool!! Anyhow, we just watched a little of the Olympics after getting home and before getting ready for bed. So here I am on Sunday morning for those of you who depend on my daily ramblings.

Saturday morning was another cold one for us with temps down in the high 30's and it stayed into the 40's most of the day with very little sunshine. Eventually it broke through in the afternoon for awhile but never got above 50 for the day. Nancy took off to pick up G/G and Amy and headed SFBC for a baby shower for Amy and "baby Samuel" around 10 AM. I spent the morning reading THE GATE HOUSE by Nelson Demille it a fun read and lots of suspense in a relationship. Nancy got home around 1 PM so we had a snack and she put a salad together for the family dinner. We headed out about 4 to visit.

G/G made a beef roast with coffee much like a pot roast, smashed tater's, broccoli and of course we brought the salad and Amy brought the leftover sheet cake from her shower for dessert. Another fine eatin' supper with Ava entertaining with her dance moves and chasing the cat around. Well we are doing it all over again this evening at our place but will do chicken on the barbee(grilled) plus other I'm sure fattening good food. We don't get to see Arrianne that often as she is totally busy teaching at a private school as well as teaching piano on the side. No wonder she isn't married as she has not time to socialize. Well better go and get ready to head out to Element for worship, Arrianne even though she is a devout Catholic is going with us to see her cousin Bobby teach this morning. LATER.
