Last night we were down for a lightning strike that damaged DSL so we finally were able to once again communicate with the outside world. Tuesday we took off for the Blue Ridge Music center and were entertained by a couple local cousins who made good music with a guitar and a banjo. Afterwards we headed for Macadoo's for lunch and then down town to walk the old stores of Galax until it began to pour. We headed to Wal-Mart to pick up a few things then headed home. The rain really cooled of the warm temps plus gave everything a nice drink.
This morning after our quiet times and blueberry pancakes for breakfast Bob and I headed over to Ms.Helens pond to do some fishing. Well they were sure biting and we brought home a nice mess for dinner along with black beans and rice, salad and I ate the left over cole slaw. We sat around the fire after dinner doing smores and now are about to get into a game of domino's. I will post pics later. LATER
