Pickleball and an Overnight Guest

Friday was a take it easy day after our morning quiet time and rigorous 1 1/2 hours of pickle ball. It was great to play hard with all of the old gang. The weather still showed bands of light rain and wind and of course the humidity is like walking through a sheet of water.

I heard from Ken and Lynn, via the blog, a couple we met last year at Seminole Rec. Center who are pickle ball players. It was great to know they will be back for a week in May to play the game.

Ava and Amy came for lunch and then the girls took off for Target. Nancy had been having withdrawal from not going to Publix and Target as we only have Mal-Mart in the mountains. We had Ava for an overnighter and she did fine. She slept in to 7:30(Amy couldn't believe it) and then grandma Nancy made her famous buckwheat pancakes(banana in the batter, Dranielle you should have been here) even Phoenix like them.

Well the sun is shining this morning and it looks like its going to be a beautiful day. T.S.Fay is moving slowly westward and dumping lots of rain. It would be a nice if it moved northward into the Carolina's. Tomorrow will be a big day as we will get to see Bobby,Jill and Annsley. Later.
